ETPO Dampens Vibration in Bicycle Saddles for Greatly Increased Comfort

One of our international clients, known for high-performance, low-maintenance bicycle components, has taken advantage of the slow-rebounding properties of ETPO foam padding to create a comfortable, yet supportive all-day mountain bike saddle.

The foam compresses progressively, so you never feel like you can completely flatten the foam. This offers really comfortable support without feeling soft or sinking in.

The Unique Properties of Elastomer-Rich Thermoplastic Polyolefin (ETPO) Make for The ideal Bike Saddle

ETPO Bicycle Saddles from Botech designed with it to be fabricated using extrusion and injection molding techniques to maximize impact strength and toughness.

Elastomer-rich thermoplastic polyolefin (ETPO) is a composite of polypropylene and its nanocomposites. The mechanical and thermal properties of ETPO, allow for it to be fabricated using extrusion and injection molding techniques to maximize impact strength and toughness.

An excellent combination of extreme toughness and slow rebound, dampens vibrations before they make it to the rider yet maintains the foams structural integrity.
