Our client manufactures both TFT/LCD Open Cell, and ITO Touch Screen Panels. Due to the differing characteristics of these two types of panels, two unique packing methods are used to protect panels as they are transported through various locations such as production and or assembly lines.
For transporting TFT/LCD Open Cell panels, panels can be stacked on top of each other. In this case the panels are generally packed in what are called Dense Pack boxes, where many panels are stacked together with a thin spacer sheet between each panel.

Due to the sensitivity of the surface of ITO Touch Screen Panels, they must be packed in a way where the panel surfaces do not touch.
For transporting these panels, a vertical transport box is used. This box has slots spaced along the interior wall so that individual panels can be slid into these slots, maintaining a space between individual panels.
