Our client, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of TFT/LCD Panels, uses boxes made of Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) to transport TFT/LCD Panels throughout the production and assembling processes of their final products.

Two Types of EPP Transportation Boxes

TFT/LCD Cell or Open Cell Panels are generally packed in what are called Dense Pack boxes, where many panels are stacked together in the box with a thin spacer between them.

ITO Touch Screen Panels however are more sensitive and cannot be stacked, so are packed in a Vertical Transport Box.

Here the EPP box has slots spaced along the interior wall. Individual panels are slid into these slots and the slots maintain a space between individual panels.
