EPP Thermo boxes ensure very low water absorption due to the closed-cell structure of the EPP bead and hydrophobic surface property. Also called insulated boxes or cold boxes these type of thermo boxes when professionally molded are extremely water proof. Using EPP materials ensures the best insulation properties and allows for products that are very light, robust, temperature-resistant and waterproof – thermo boxes made of EPP are food-safe and can therefore be used universally as storage and transport boxes.
